Those aren't logical problems though. You might as well be reducing the differences to what video game consoles were around, in which case it isn't very transformative when you look back, save for the inevitable increase of interconnectivity, which should be the most steadfast driving factor that influences change in society before people's eyes. If you want to compare access to computers and the technological proliferation of media/information that one personally consumes, then yeah it can start to look like a mess when you adjust your scope to fixate on how many megabites your hardrives have. You're supposed to start with the stuff that doesn't change and filter it out enough to see where the real change is happening.

I thought I would bounce this thread momentarily to note that Will Smith has been separated from Jada since 2016.

That means he destroyed his career, embarrassed himself in front of millions and nearly landed himself an assault charge for a woman that he isn't even with! What a loser.

The notion that Hollywood would throw away the drawing power of Will Smith over Chris Rock, is quite possibly the most idiotic thing I've ever heard you say clearspira. After all being found guilty of statutory rape and fleeing the country didn't destroy Roman Polanski's career, if they're not gonna destroy his career over that why on Earth would they bother destroying Will Smith's career over what happened at the Oscars?

Hollywood, after all, is not in the habit of throwing away cash and Will Smith can earn them quite a bit of money. Also, the only one embarrassing themselves is you. After all if the two were actually separated they'd not have arrived to the Oscar gala together or sat together the entire evening, which footage from the gala show's they did. If he "wasn't even with" her, he'd not have been so incensed by the mockery of her medical condition that he smacked Chris Rock in the first place. So you've posted inaccurate information for a petty 'gotcha' against a person who's never going to see it and likely wouldn't care if he did. So as far as I'm concerned, the loser is you.

“We’re still figuring it out,” Jada says of the state of their marriage. She says they had been separated for six years before the Oscars in 2022. “We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.”

Dude, one of two things are happening here.

1) He's a loser.
2) She is trying to destroy this man.

It's from the horse's mouth that they were split up at the time btw.

Damn dude. You wrote all that just to be wrong.

There is also something about Will Smith's relationship that hasn't been stated and that is Will Smith still pining for Jada where she isn't.

Its not like they had some big blowout like Heard/Depp or Pitt/Jolie style either. So yeah they could be separated and still attend things together. Hell they may even go home and do normal adult bedroom stuff too and still be separated in the morning.
I got nothing to say here.

If anything I bet will was more reacting to when Rock said that Jada boycotting the Oscar’s was like Rock himself trying to boycott sleeping with Rihanna.

Jada Smith notably indicates that she and Will had been separated for six years but got back together because of the punch.

Stated it on Colbert.
