What did Elon Musk do this time.

The Cybertruck's idiocy thwarts a Special Forces planned terrorist attack.

I say this without exaggeration or hyperbole: I think that the Cybertruck is one of the ugliest vehicles ever made. It is even below the old Soviet bread baskets because at least they had the excuse of being made on a budget of $5. This heap of scrap iron that looks like some cheap toy was supposedly made by a company owned by the richest man on Earth.

I am desperate to know what design brief Musk's staff were given for this thing. Or did Musk make the mistake of hiring his brother to design this and then he went off to play golf?

I'd recommend to not go with that narrative. Any such designed device would've acted the exact same way on any flatbed, even a Ford from the 1960s. An explosion always chooses the way of least resistance, as an explosion is just hot, expanding gas. That's why blowout panels on tanks are so highly effective in terms of protecting the crew from catastrophic damage to the ammo racks. The expanding gases just vent out the top of the turret, because that's where there's barely more than sheet-metal, as opposed to the armored bulkheads towards the crew section.

OK - so here's one that had me chuckling into my cup of tea just now.

https://news.sky.com/story/farage-doesn ... r-13284086

For the last couple of months, Musk has been threatening to donate 100 million pounds to Nigel Farage's Reform UK that has just five MPs but is currently polling better than the Conservatives (which is more a reflection on just how unpopular the Conservatives are right now rather than how beloved Reform UK is but I digress).

This was a big controversy because the UK has fairly strict rules on donations. There are always loopholes of course but it did not sit right with a lot of people that a foreign actor could donate such a large amount of money to a standing political party and are now talks about changing the rules to make them even tighter.

Anyway... Elon Musk has just come out and called for Nigel Farage to stand down as leader of Reform UK saying that he ''does not have what it takes.'' Whether Musk is aware that Reform UK could very well be renamed to the ''Nigel Farage Party'' I do not know. Basically no one in this country could name you its other four MPs. Without Nigel there is no Reform UK.

Oh, but get WHY they fell out. There is a far right thug in this country named Tommy Robinson who is currently doing eighteen months in prison for contempt of court. Elon Musk is calling for his release and Nigel Farage has come out publicly and said that such people ''are not what we need''.

So just to recap here: Musk now endorses the early release of imprisoned far right thugs in foreign countries and is now more extreme than the leader of said foreign country's most popular right wing party to the point that he is willing to sever ties with said party over it. What Trump will think of this will be interesting as he seems to get on very well with Farage. Another sign that the Trump/Musk relationship is already fracturing?

Musk is much like Trump. Fast to form an opinion despite not having the slightest fucking idea what the flying fuck he is talking about. He just so happens to manage to always land on his feet, instead of nose, Probably because of all the Dogecoins in his shoes. To me, it's fairly funny business. Farrage would not turn that money down, if he had the slightest chance to get away with it. That man is a grifter, not a proper politician. It's just that his elitist snob point of view and UK law are preventing him from cooperating.

Here's an idea. Tell Musk about Carl Benjamin. I'm certain there's a lot of comedy-gold to be mined in that cooperation.

I believe the guy also committed suicide so there's much more wrong with it than the choice of car.

Yeah, reading his alleged manifesto, you gotta twist your brain curves quite a bit beyond their normal turns, to follow his conclusions.

I have the feeling the guy didn't write the note, and someone that work for Trump did. It sounds like him, he wanted to meet him so badly he kill himself.
