That avoided my question expertly.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 3:56 amDid you forget that this election had a huge amount of mail-in ballots? Amazing what months of race related riots will do for finally getting you off your ass and vote. I sincerely wonder what the result would have been without Covid and a couple of asshole cops beating a guy to death.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sat Nov 07, 2020 9:38 pm"But they better remember who gave them this victory; it was progressives, and black women, and black men, and black youth; it was not moderates...and we're going to hold them accountable" #Election2020results #Elections2020
The buzzkillers can complain all they want, I'm celebrating this election victory with a champagne bottle in one hand and an eggplant emoji in the other.

FYI -
Qanon is about to disintegrate.
https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/11/06/qa ... here-is-q/
Qanon followers are wondering what the hell is going on with Q (Who doesn't exist but has con men who post in his name) since he hasn't posted since the election. Also, you know, all of his predictions about the election failed to come true along with every other.
That's because, and this article doesn't mention it, Q is the product of a group of con men that took an internet fanfiction game (I know because I was there at 4chan when it was created) and then marketed it as real. Because PT Barnum was right about humanity.
https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/tech-news/ ... on-n900531
Huge numbers of Q boards are having people slowly but surely debate the possibility that, yes, they may have been suckered. Some of the complaints are terrible like, "My wife and kid left me because of this. I don't have anything else!"

I don't see too many people talk about Trump's escalation of the military.
I mean I'm really not sure if he did inflate it, but I know his budget allotment for technology upgrades sounded somewhat exuberant.

Thank the Prophets that this is over with.
Now onto trying to fix the damage Trump made. Too bad that fucking turtle is still in the senate, which is honestly even worse than the prospect of Trump being reelected.

tldr: Nothing has really changed that much, spending hasn't increased significantly, but there have been redeployments from the Middle East and Europe to Asia. Regardless of what you think we'd still be in a trade spat with China regardless of who'd been elected in 16'. As Trump actually had the softest china policy of the 16' candidates, and troop deployments have continued their steady drop even during Trump's rule.
Additionally I think one of the good things to come out of this administration is the Quad Alliance between the US, Japan, India, and Australia, with Taiwan, Vietnam and possibly Russia (Via its friendship with India) as secondary partners.

My point is that a lot of people in the USA don't vote simply because they can't. The massive expansion of voting by mail made that possible for a lot more people.clearspira wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 10:03 amThat avoided my question expertly.Fuzzy Necromancer wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 3:56 amDid you forget that this election had a huge amount of mail-in ballots? I dunno. I'd be hesitant to much of anything that happened under the Trump administration as any concerted policy. He had lots of bluster about China, but thrashed around when came to actually doing anything. Maybe the QSD could develop into an Asian NATO, but quashing the TPP was a step backwards there, and I can't help but see it as India hedging themselves against China.TexasRed wrote: ↑Sun Nov 08, 2020 10:07 pm As Trump actually had the softest china policy of the 16' candidates
