So what's MAGA'S defense of Trump sucking Russa's dick? Bending the knee and taking it up the ass? Thanking him for making him his bitch?
There is backlash right now in calling Ukraine president a dictator due to not having elections even though they have been suspended due to their own laws. As in no elections during a time of war.
New York Post for example did a run down and basically ending up correcting what Trump has said. New York Post is a Republican newspaper (usually in step with Fox News too) though it has a very good sports section. If you are into that though.
What Trump speaks to is consistent with people that are of the impression that the US basically has no obligation on the international stage. Historically that's been something that is consistent across establishment party lines, so it's all very convenient to simply poke at the ongoing quagmire and speculate that any causal affect whether progressive or conservatively aligned is simply a political nuisance.
There was that long period where the US should not be the world's police. Which I technically do agree up to a point.
Russia invaded Ukraine. Yes politics was involved when it came to NATO and made up politics that Putin used. With any US president not named Trump this would have been simple.
If Russia didn't have nukes, this war would have ended when allied European and US forces was knocking on Moscow's gates.
Bunch of ifs.
I get it, getting some sort of return on the billions spent.

Not necessarily. Obama refused to do anything about Crimea because his whole platform was deescalating the war on terror (which he arguably failed to do).
Which is why George W. Bush is liked more than Obama in Ukraine.

Different times. Obama inherited the mess in Afghanistan and Iraq from Bush. His eight years was focused on trying to deescalate the whole thing. That was from 2008-2016.
Russia invaded in 2022. The US may not have led the defense but I doubt they would have sat back. Again saying if Russia had no nukes.
