In some cultures, you weren't considered alive until you had been suckled. That's why so many heroes were raised by wolves or something.

Yeah, that would be the anti-choice crowd. The pro-life crowd, I think, who legitimately care about the kid's life, and have no power, well... it gets harder when it hits close to home, especially from a rape. No man would force his wife to go through with that if she didn't want to - at least no decent man.

I'm still waiting for evidence that people who are "pro-life" instead of just anti-choice actually exist.

Not enough to say that they are just daft and don't understand sensible policy. No, they are consciously out to oppress people...

This is why I have always seen pro-life wrong way to describe those people because they don't actually care about life of either mother or child. And sure as hell they don't care about child's life after it's born so they are practically anti-choice instead of pro-life.

My Socialist friend in Peru. He actively criticizes those who want to forcefully bring a child into the world, and then provide no happy environment for it.

The Onion? Aren't they satire? The scary part is, this seems more realistic than actual parody...

Satire, but relevant satire, and apparently without a punchline.
