It was controversial when Richard Spencer got punched by Antifa, but it seems like the same argument is being pushed here except it's not in America and the stakes are overall less.

The only sane reaction is for the people with handcuffs and government authority to tell restaurant owners to deny service to people whose politics they disagree with!

We have a different attitude here in Britain. Punch or milkshake is not really the point, the fact you attacked someone is. That is why the man in question has been arrested for assault.
The fact that an MP got stabbed to death a few years ago still weighs heavily too.
