Anyway, Andy Ngo is a well-known...."independent journalist" who covers political protests in the North West. He is, to the best of my knowledge, not really unpleasant, but he does try very hard to make sure that his camera is pointed where a lot of people do not want it pointed, and makes a point of trying to be where people very clearly do not want him to be.

I guess some of them decided to emphasize their displeasure.

Absolutely. If you're going to run a right-wing protest, Portland is a great place to do it, because you're guaranteed to get an Antifa response. Remember....most street 'protesters' (on both sides) aren't all that interested in ideology or nuanced political arguments. Mostly, they want to revel in rage and maybe punch someone, so everyone on both sides really WANTS the other side to show up, because how can you have a brawl if it's just you?

Uh...that's the point of SOME protests....but not the Portland variety.
