the thing is that most slave owners didn't know it was wrong because it was the only thing they knew. but you guys know wishing death on someone is wrong, even a monster deserves his sanctity of life respected at bare minimum.

I don't need to. unless it's an immediate life of death situation, I am a moral absolutist.

How old are you actually? You're telling me, you never lied in a situation where your life or body's integrety wasn't threatened, for example?

no, despite feeling in some ways my parents were too soft on me, I was, for the most part a perfect angel as a kid and never stopped being so. and as I've said before, I've internalized the ethos of the main characters from my childhood shows such as Goku and Optimus Prime.

however, there was a time where I thought like the people on this thread to the point of fantasizing about being a Punisher-style vigilante, and it, no exaggeration, triggers me to see anyone else acting like that.

You've never had other kids call you dork, give you wedgies, spit in your food, swap your lunch with something disgusting, even sabotage your bike? I've had that all happen to me.

I'm just a bit curious since you said you were a perfect angel, and not even I was a perfect angel. To get back at those kids, I pulled the same kind of stupid, childish stunts right back at them.

Because if that really was your childhood, then I sincerely envy you.

and to say again, the reason I am a moral absolutist is that I have a huge sense of empathy, I literally spasm when I even consider doing something hurting another human being. I literally cannot imagine another human being being okay with this kind of mind set unless they are a psychopath.

I can relate, and I'm not saying that you should. Just that claims of being a perfect angel as a kid seem dubious. You didn't even indulge in the slightest natural immaturity? Pranks and whatnot?

maybe very early in my life but I was still prepubescent when my angel phase started.
