Well, that's the thing. The Republican party does want bullied kids to feel alone. That's kinda their agenda. Leave them with nowhere to turn to but their parents, and let their parents abuse them and use them as property.

Soon or later you know that Trump will be eventually given unlimited power to do what he wants without any checks or balances. You know it's coming.

Hell, there is a proposal to make Trump's birthday a national holiday.
I got nothing to say here.

So the question now is where is the tipping point? What pushes people over the edge?
It's OK to make mistakes as long as you don't make the same ones. If you do then you're not learning.

I think it's when both sides come to that point. I just don't see a tipping point for the Left if it's just the Left.

Tipping point could be economics. Simple as that. Where cost of beef is $30 a pound. Chicken is $10 a pound. Milk is $15 a gallon. Where food is three times more expensive and their job still pays the same. Some redneck realizing to fix his Ford costs 3x as much as before.

Everything is just numbers until the numbers actually affects them.

I still see the propaganda working on the MAGA right now. Everything Elon is doing is awesome. The whole spreadsheet of the SS that was put out earlier this week is an example of that. Even though it was put out why someone who is 300+ years old in on SS or 0-9 years old with million are on it too. Everything about it makes no sense. But MAGA are not engaging their brains and figuring it out that maybe something is wrong with jwg they are seeing and just taking what they see in face value.

Deep down, most people are cowards. We see this in every tyrannical government throughout history. All they want to do is keep their heads down and live their lives. And I am not putting myself on a pedestal here. Typically, you have to get YEARS into something for people to start growing a pair.

That is not how they see themselves in their heads of course. If things go to shit, they are Rick Grimes. They are the ones that everyone looks to. They are the ones keeping it together. We all like to dream of being the hero, not the redshirt.

Perhaps the most notable example of this for me as a foreigner are the 2nd ammendment advocates who quote V for Vendetta without any irony whatsoever. It is very easy to make badass statements when there is no risk of actually having to carry through with them. But when there is an actual tyrant actually trying to gain power? Tumbleweeds.

Regarding the SS database, this is an example of a very old computer system using legacy code that has a default state of 1875. When a year is not known it autofills to 1875 because it was incapable of handling 0 as an answer. Musk probably knows this, or has people that do, but also knows that it is great propaganda.

Incidentally, as anyone who has ever had a government or banking job will tell you, the Western world is glued together with legacy systems that are so old that the people who made them are dead or retired. They cannot be changed because no one alive knows how to change them. The few engineers left can charge outrageous sums for their services because they know their worth.

Not just tumbleweeds, they were the first to bend the knee.
One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars.

Its about party lines and also the basic ideas of followers and leaders. Right now, their party is winning and owning the libs. The followers are doing what they do and parrot what they are told. They are good with that too. The leaders are bending the knee.

Like this whole thing with DOGE. They are cutting programs, firing, cutting things without real work on if they should. They just are. The Liberal side sees issues with this.

The Far Right? They are parroting the party line which is:

They are cutting down a corrupt government by eliminating the fraud and waste. Why don't you like that?

The response is always, well what is the fraud and where is the corruption. Crickets.
I got nothing to say here.
