A weapon being pulled is a threat. Are you implying that every instance a cop has sex with an arrestee involves the officer's sidearm being pulled? The second it's pulled from the holster, all bets are off.

See, this is where we differ. No matter how legitimate the reason for the arrest, once a cop gets you into their car, once they bind your hands, you are in THEIR power. You don't know what charges they are going to bring against you. You don't know how long they will detain you before you get your one phone call, and if that phone call will go through. You don't know if you will be reported as "missing" or turn up as a "suicide". You have no reason to believe they have your best interests at heart or still see you as human being.

Any request a cop makes to somebody they have handcuffed is a request made with the force of threatened violence behind it. It doesn't matter if the arrest is legal or not, they have you in their power.

Being labeled a rapist for the rest of time is the problem. Being thrown in jail is the problem.

This is not a huge infringement on personal liberty. This is me saying "wait until a person is out of your custody to fuck them, just in case they are saying 'yes' because you have them utterly at your disposal. Confine yourself to fucking the billions of people who are NOT in your cell, whom you do NOT have restrained with devices that make it hard to fight back and impossible to escape."
