But why bother? You are just...really determined to hate people. You want to see them suffer, and you have no concept of limits or humanity when it comes to how much they suffer. It's not that you don't care if a child of six is brought before a judge with no legal representation, or if people are sleeping on the ground in cold weather, you view those as valuable bonuses because it'll some how scare off and intimidate other people who are willing to cross thousands of miles with whatever they can carry.


Nothing you've said has in any way suggested this assessment is incorrect. I don't see how that addresses my question. Can you clarify how it does that?

Instead of judging these people for entering this way why don't we find out why they were coming here in the first place before judging. for all, we know they could be fleeing a bad situation.

By that same token... life is harsh and we cannot be the world's policemen. That's also arguments the left has used before. My heart genuinely does beat for them, but I agree with arguments from my Latino friends that we can barely take of our own people, let alone those from other countries.

Because I agree with arguments that classical liberals have raised, who are too "alt right" these days to the new world liberals, those arguments being that millions of immigrants have come here fleeing socialism in their own countries, and you WANT that here? What they escaped? You think you know more than POC when you virtue-signal about their needs so hard? Literally the United States has its massive expenditure on the military to be the world's policemen. It was part of a lot of agreements we made and as part of treaties. However, I'm not sure how being the world's policemen has jack shit to do with immigration. If you want to reduce the military budget by about 60% and use the money to provide free health care and welfare for the public, I'm sure we can also accomadate a lot more immigrants too.

It's not a police or military issue to take in refugees.

Well, if it helps, a lot of those classical liberals and even that aforementioned Latino friend abhor chicken-hawks. And yeah, I know. I have to wonder if shutting down the borders, COMPLETELY CLOSED BORDERS, for any and all immigrants, may be the solution sometimes, talking to them. Not whitey the cracker devil saying this. Thorough, dyed-in-the-wool POC, or at least with more blue checkmarks than me as a cis-het white dude. Also, no sane person likes what they're doing at the border, but to me it just reinforces why Bush was so horrible even 20 years later, since as I said, ICE started under him, not Obama or Bush.
