Who is this though that carries such a big carrot and stick, for lack of a better term? ADL, borderline segregationist evangelicals?

Before October I had never heard the "all Jews are dependant on and owe allegiance to Israel" from anyone who actually liked Israel. Quite often from people who absolutely hated Jews, though.

The full 180 from "only antisemites say this" to "if you disagree with this you're antisemitic" the establishment tried to pull so they could dismiss any criticism of Israel as antisemitic gave me whiplash.

I have mixed feelings about conscription in general, regardless of the country that does it. If you don't believe in a cause enough that you are compelled to fight for it on your own, should you be coerced into fighting for it?

I would argue no; as then you are basically suffering and dying for sake of someone else that might not care whether you live or die.

Well yeah in California you have to live with your parents until you’re 18, but you can move out at that point as well.
