So Trump has Covid-19

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. And I'm going to continue being gleeful about this wretched man suffering the consequences of his own actions. I'll save all my sympathy for the many, many people he infected because he refuses to social distance or wear a mask.
I wish death on no one but I do hope this prevents him from trying to cheat the election.
He won't need to. This is pretty much like getting shot.

He probably never really got it and isn't in any real danger and is just going to get more votes from it lol.
He hasn't tweeted for 20 hours. He has it.
Fair enough.

Why is our universe written by a hack?

I mean really, hoisted on his own petard? After managing to elude so many other attempts to take him down? It is like the moral of "War of the Worlds" or some kind of "God's ultimate judgement" narrative.
I haven't seen you post much lately and I don't really remember what you're all about aside from your blog, but this is the second time in a row I've agreed with the underlying sentiments of your post.
You know, I might as well give a bit of a personal bio in here if no where else.
I am sure the people on here that I most frequently disagree with and try to refute will try to disbelieve, discredit, or ignore my resume anyway but why not.

I have three Masters degrees from Florida State University in American Politics and Policy, Urban and Regional Planning, and International Affairs. I have worked in local government as a planner (after grad school) and Sheriff's Deputy (pre grad school). I am currently a PhD student and Research/Teaching Assistant at George Washington University in the fields of Public Policy and Administration.

I don't post on here very often because a lot of the guys are block heads. There is no evidence that could be presented that would convince them to abandon their positions, and I am unwilling to spend my time trying to convince them with a lot of research. I try and tell them to cite sources and more than once I have been told that they don't want to bother because I criticize their sources (not realizing that is the entire reason sources are cited, so their validity can be questioned).

It is tiresome, but I like Chuck's videos and there are several people on here I like and respect. CharlesPhipps is a fun writer and I have seen every episode of Linkara's Atop the Fourth Wall. So I continue to pop in from time to time to throw in my two cents, but at a certain point being told I don't know anything about politics by randos on the internet that think Trump is in some way a positive force in the world... It keeps me from wanting to be more a part of this ecosystem.

There's a huge number of Republicans succumbing to the Red Death:

1. Two Republican Senators
2. Kellyann Conway
3. Trump's campaign manager

And Chris Christie probably has it too.

Well, the senator from Georgia's already claiming that it's China's fault.

We could blame the Spanish Flu on Kansas but we don't because, well, it's stupid. Natural disasters happen. We just get called out for how we handle them.

And yet, that happened in a totally different era.

I think in today's world, this demands an investigation. And if they could have done so back then, they should have.

An investigation into what? A disease came from China.

Are we speculating on a Bob Page-esque conspiracy to destroy the world?
