But then some cult member will mention that one time where Trump grabbed a Marine's cover (military term for hat) when it blew off and put it back on that Marine's head. Or that one time Obama or Biden forgot to reciprocate a salute made to them.
Nixon ended the Vietnam war, Nixon increased veterans benefits, Nixon ended the draft.
The most disgraced American president prior to Trump cared more about the troops than Trump.
Edit: It's also worth noting that Nixon fought in WW2 and didn't flee the draft thanks to a rich daddy like Trump and Musk did.
Fair point, the presidents I mentioned were the ones I am most familiar with since I was old enough to remember them (I was too young when Regan and Bush senior were in office). Hence why I mentioned them and not others like Nixon.
