Israeli Economic Minister, Nir Barkat, says Iran is now a legitimate target.

https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/ir ... r-BB1hcsPz

This what I am afraid of. Netanyahu and his ruling party were elected on the platform of eliminating threats to Israel but what happens when those threats are removed? It would be the end of their political careers as the party's central platform has become meaningless. So to stay in power Israel has to be threatened, so they pick another fight, and another, and another, and another...

This is just the opinion of one man, but given that he is a senior minister and an important player in the ruling party it does raise questions about how many others share his opinion, or at least would support him to avoid losing influence.

Holy Hecate. That sounds like a good way to start WWIII.

That is basically how the last one got started, but this time the USA is the one encouraging it by giving them a bunch of blank checks.

Huh?

That sounds more like how Bush instigated the Iraq war with the British reports of chemical weapons.

The invasion of Poland though was more a national pursuit of claiming territory under German inhabitants.
..What mirror universe?

Sounds a lot like the justification Putin used to invade Ukraine to me. ''NATO is on my border, America is on my border, Ukraine is a Nazi state preparing to attack us etc.''

Nazi Germany did do a few false flag attacks and blame Poland for them. More of a formality than anything.

Meanwhile, Israel is adding insulin pens for children to the list of things they won't allow into Gaza. Because they are fucking monsters holding the entire region hostage while they slowly kill them. https://twitter.com/Raminho/status/1750193034510115167

The UN aid agency for Palestine was allegedly involved in the 7th of October attacks. This includes hostage sheltering and openly celebrating dead Israelis. They are also accused of having a union with links to Hamas. The UK, US, Australia, Italy and Canada have now paused funding pending an investigation.

Don't know what to think of this, either way, it is pretty devastating to the relief effort.

Here is an interesting piece of trivia: One of the judges who found against Israel is an actual Holocaust survivor.

Aharon Barak is an interesting fellow reading up on him. He has lived in Israel literally since its creation, was both a former member of its supreme court and attorney general for decades. He is a fierce critic of Netenyahu especially for his judicial reforms. He was for the initial retaliation (but like me as I have already said) has seen how this has gone way the f-k too far.

When a citizen and former member of the government who suffered at the hands of the literal Hitler speaks up against you Mr Prime Minister, that is not a good look.
