This seems like the only possible lesson you can't take from the election really. Quite apart from pissing in the entire UK's cereal and calling it ice cream since 2010, Conservatives ran on basically one thing that they've been failing to do that entire three years through their own sheer incompetence.clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 1:39 am Moral of this story: Don't piss off the electorate for three solid years.

USA Civil War: Republicans were the anti-slavery party and Democrats were pro-slavery. At some time the parties flipped.clearspira wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 1:39 am Moral of this story: Don't piss off the electorate for three solid years.
The Civil War Democrats were about confederacy and state rights superseding the Union of states, which is what the conservative UK party is doing with Brexit.Artabax wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2019 7:56 pmUSA Civil War: Republicans were the anti-slavery party and Democrats were pro-slavery. Labour used to be the Peasant Party and Tories were the Aristo Party. Another flip???
