Oh would you look at that.
Especially if it looks more and more like the vast majority of the company's value is purely speculative and only driven by the cheap debt that's been sloshing around for the last decade and a half. Because at its peak Tesla had a valuation on par with Amazon, Apple, and Google despite being a mid sized luxury car company. It produces half the cars per year as Mercedes-Benz, and yet has a market cap more than every other car manufacturer combined.

Musk is more than just Tesla though. I'm sure he can raid SpaceX for a few bob if need be.

While he owns more of Space X, it only has a market cap of 100 billion. He would need to almost completely divest himself from Space X to make up for the losses to Tesla I. The past week.
