The Lincoln Project can make all the snarky videos they want, this is exactly what they should have expected and none of this evil would have been possible without the entire party enabling him.

And now i have, as my alternative, the democratic party, which is fighting naked fascist escalation with epic clapbacks and more snarky comments.

I hope and pray our non-elected democratic candidate picks a good running mate.

I mean short of actually leading a coup that's basically all they can do as most of the enforcement ability is invested in the executive and most of the what isn't requires both the chambers of congress to work together.

Are you stating the obvious or making up conspiracy theories about the primaries?

I'll opt for the former but if the latter was what I meant, what difference would it make?

I mean, there are some things they could do. They could block some of his budgets. They could not cooperate with the senate. They could philibuster.

They won't, because no matter how self-destructive the GOP gets, Democrats are still the primary party of inneficaccy, half-measures and self-sabotage.

I mean that's ultimately trading one form of empty grandstanding for another as the vast majority of the damage trump is currently doing is through purely executive power.

It depends on the context. If you mean the film itself, it's not diverse. If you're talking about the film landscape as a whole it does represent diversity as a tentpole film with a majority black cast as well as a black director as those are basically non-existent.
You start by saying "the film landscape as a whole" and then you narrow your view down to "tentpole film, majority black cast, black director" You know there are plenty of black films, ether directed by a black director of staring a majority black cast, or both. You know there are plenty of tentpole films ether staring or directed by blacks. It's just this one arbitrary highly specific category. Remember 13% of the population. Are these films 13% of films? Do you expect more?

I specifically mention the Cast being 90% black being considered "diverse".

Man, it's gunna be hilarious when Hillary Clinton comes out of nowhere and becomes Biden's running mate. Then again, the most likely candidate is Kamala "tough on crime" Harris.

And for anyone that thinks Biden is a shoe-in and those +15 polls mean anything. You have to ask yourself, why does a person with such a secure position and secure lead take so long and is so careful picking a running mate?

Yes, because it's the combination of those three things that make it increase diversity. There have certainty been plenty of films with a primarily black cast and crew, but most of them been smaller films made on at most mid tier budgets. There have been tentpole films with black leads, but they usually have an otherwise almost entirely white cast and more often than not a white director.

If every film was like that it would represent a decrease in diversity, but there really hadn't been a film like that up to this point.

mid-July to late August is the time that running mates are typically announced. Biden wasn't named as Obama's VP until August 23 of 2008. I also think his age is a factor as he doesn't want a Sarah Palin for a running mate when he's got a good chance of dying in office.

It's kind of weird considering news of the likes of this kind of topic when your local coverage is completely dominated by a ravishing fire buddying up to your town.

I don't know who to vote for and really don't know of any way to decide. on the one hand, I hear all the bad stuff about Trump but my dad, who pays attention to news sources who don't lean left nor right, will always have a counter argument for me. and my dad isn't a stance Republican or right winger, he just does not think Biden is the way to go but would gladly vote for a democrat if he agreed enough with one. and he things Trump is just out for himself too and both sides mostly just want power but he simply has a different idea to most who is the lesser of two evils.
