What did Elon Musk do this time.

Lots of talk about a blow up between Musk and MAGA. Musk got pissed at certain MAGA politicians and talking heads, removed their blue check, censored them etc.

All due to I think Musk wanting to bring in more immigrants with high qualifications. Not sure what the problem is. Only was able to speed read a couple of articles while at work today.

Though even having Elon as Speaker, we will eventually see MAGA Republicans start to get tired of him. Musk for all his flaws isn't totally brainwashed as a MAGA.

Elon is basically trying to get labor he can abuse in ways he can't an American workforce, but found out MAGA is deeply racist and really hates Immigrants, especially Indian immigrants.

Too bad for them, Elon is the president and he'll get those Indian immigrants here by the thousands and than he'll abuse the HELL out of them to make even MORE money than his current 400 billion.

It always amused me that the sole focus of MAGA was preventing basically Spanish speaking people from getting into the US who would take jobs that most Americans won't do. But at the same time there has been a bit of a invasion from India taking the higher paying jobs. Or even the lower caste owning businesses. I know this is a generalization, but there was zero focus on Indians.

I mean if you are focused on foreigners taking jobs, maybe you could put a spotlight on that too. But no. Let's focus on the land border for some reason.

Musk is supposedly the head of Twitter X, the head of SpaceX, the head of Tesla, and now supposedly has a job in Trump's government.

How can one man work four high level jobs when there are only 24 hrs in the day? The answer is obvious, he cannot. But let's also make this man speaker, that'll work out well.

I work with quite a few Indians and Chinese and I have to say that they are all incredibly educated people. What happens is, especially with Indians, they can get twice as much working in Britain as they can in India for even the most basic job. The mail room at my work - and this is God's honest truth - has a university educated chemist shifting envelopes because it was cheaper for her to get a visa and work here doing a bottom rung job than it is for her to work there. Fun fact: you can sell a kidney in India and get less than the annual average take home of a British employee.

Basically, I can kind of see where Elon is coming from, because you can get hold of incredibly smart people from Asia and pay them peanuts. He's a cheapskate is essentially what I am saying.

Not surprised that the Musk and Trump love in is already breaking up though. I really do not get the impression that Musk is as indoctrinated in extreme MAGA as a lot of Trump's followers are. For one thing, maybe it has hit Musk that he runs international companies?

All the Indian and Chinese people I work with are definitely smarter than me, but my employer recruits scientists and engineers globally and techs like me locally so cause and effect there.
