Are the wast majority of rigth wingers less fond off the superrich than 10 - 15 years ago?

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

Right meaning more inclined toward capitalism and left meaning more inclined toward socialism.

I can't answer for the vast majority of right-wingers. I can say that I've never been rather fond of nor hostile to the super-rich, any more than I'm fond or hostile toward really big rocks. Except Kirk's rock, which I kind of like for nostalgia purposes.

I am more worried about growing income inequality than I used to be, which may or may not speak to the intent of your question.

Someone got a bit drunk when posting this...

I don't think there has been any significant change on that front. After all, right-wingers just elected a billionaire to the presidency.

As the above poster stated, I think for most right-wingers they don't have any strong opinions either way about the ultra-rich. The perception of them being fond of the ultra-rich is probably because of the hostility you see from the Left.

I assume they are less fond since they are out there taking left positions on social issues. At least the ones that are more visible along with some large corporations.

Because your news forum postings are starting to evoke the tale of the guy who had a carbon monoxide leak in his house that he didn't know about.

For me I've never given a damn about them so long as they act decent and moral like I expect anyone else to be.

As or income inequality, it comes down to relative inequality - rich and poor living close together and the reactions that produces that homogeneously rich or poor communities - and I wonder how much the internet has effected people in that regard by shrinking perceived community borders.

I personally have never and still don't resent or hate those who are rich and my trials of privation in life have never changed that, only appreciated what I do have and a strong desire to work towards preventing them happening again. Give me a million or more dollars and I'd use it to owkr off what I owe that's pressing on me and leave much of the rest alone from what I've seen of how screwed up the rich can get, even when they're decent people.

The doc Queen of Versailles I recently watched illustrates that. The family are ok people, but they, especially the wife, are warped because of their money. The docs about them going through hard times, which they weathered and came out of fine, but I see 3 years ago they lost a daughter to ODing on drugs, something I'm not surprised by seeing how empty large parts of their lives are because they simply don't need to do many things due to their money.
