Hey it may take decades but it is satisfying to see rich, powerful sexual predators actually face consequences for their actions.

On top of the obvious reasons to be happy he's out, the fact that he openly loathes Star Trek makes me hopeful that with him out of the company better heads will be put in charge of things.

About time. Bastard cancelled ENT just when it was becoming an actually watchable show. Him being gone is unquestionably good.

Has he admitted anything? Is there actual physical evidence? Until then, innocent until proven guilty. I'm both sick and worried at how ready people are to abandon one of our most precious and hard fought for rights just on the word of one or two people.

Too true. So far he's admitted nothing. Given the accusations, I'm hoping there will be a thorough investigation and justice is done properly.

Meanwhile, my interest in him leaving is purely in regards to his treatment of Star Trek, something which we do have plenty of evidence for.

Innocent until proven guilty is a standard for courtrooms, not for discourse.

And it's not one or two people. It's waves of victims coming forward over a long period of time and another entertainment industry Open Secret.

I'm a big believer in innocent until proven guilty, but one can hardly blame CBS for wanting to distance itself in the meantime. I suppose could have sent him on vacation to wait it out and see what they could find out. Of course for all we know they already did that since these companies tend to be pretty hush-hush about when it comes to high-profile firings.
