Virginia outlaws trick-or-treating over 12

Yeah, can't see this going horribly wrong. I'm sure it's very easy to tell if somebody's over 12 just by looking at them. Not like anyone tends to over-estimate the age of children belonging to a certain race.

Also sometimes 15-year-olds want free candy and as long as they show up in a damn costume they are welcome to it, you sick, soulless puppy-fuckers.

Penalty can be up to 6 months imprisonment.

Why would anyone vote for objectively stupid laws like these?

Fuck those local laws. When I was 13 I was walking my younger sisters around to trick or treat. It's like adults can't remember being a kid at Halloween.

I'd rather them be out trick-or-treating on Halloween night than doing other things that teenagers might get up to.

We should be encouraging safe and fun wastes of time, not prohibiting them!

The moral crusaders strike again! I really hate them.

What's immoral about trick-or-treating?

Some assholes just wanna stick their noses everywhere because it's their moral duty to correct our flaws as a society.

Nothing. This isn't about morals. This is just 'get off my lawn' taken to the ultimate level.

Yeah, I noticed the more extreme examples even limit the time frame of when it's allowed from like 6-8 PM.
