Oh yes, I have dealt with the accusation of "easily triggered snowflake" before.

Assault is assault. And incidentally, there was a kid who died recently from someone throwing cheese down his shirt due to an allergy, and since one can never know who has what allergy, it can make something like this a lot more serious. Kind of like how spitting on someone can be aggravated assault due to the potential for spreading disease. Protip: don't throw shit at people.

It's assault that should be punished by, "You shouldn't do that. Go home. We're charged you for dry cleaning."

I would say "I know that what you just did is technically illegal. but considering the circumstances, I'll let you off if you promise to never do it again and go home right now."

I think someone who lets an assaulter get away with assault would have to be a lot more tolerant than the person committing the assault.

I assumed this was accidental. Was this deliberate?
