Can't help but worry about it. I know my Libertarian AnCap friend thinks it's a tiny minority that are all white ultra nationalists, have guns, and are full of toxic masculinity and just wanna go on a big ethnic purge possibly raping women along the way - as George Carlin would say, "Just a bunch of bad guys looking for a good time" - only 5,000 or 10,000 or so. I see it being more in the hundreds of thousands or low millions. And that's a frightening thought.

This isn't new.

There's a reason Grand Theft Auto 5 had a half-dozen missions about armed civilians pretending they had legal authority to deport brown folk.

I remember when the civilian border patrols first showed up to "help" fight illegal immigration and they insisted, "This is about the law, it's not about racism." That was when, literally days after, a parade was held for them with Nazi flags flying.

Because, yes, it was about racism.
