First time I've ever seen something like this. TBF, the perp seems to have mental issues given the absurdity of the crime, but that is still clearly a hate crime and that idiot judge should be disbarred and thrown out of his job for that moronic decision.

Reverse Racism is a stupid word and what it implies is, that someone is behaving in a racist manner and get racist reactions in return. Can we please just call the duck a duck? it's racism, plain and simple.

I mean, I'm very left-leaning, and I gotta agree, even I dislike the word reverse racism.

Personally I think the point of the term so that people who are racist, but have some for of discrimination that's affecting them or could potentially affect them can deal with that problem without actually calling for equality.

tl/dr, Canadian woman of Native descent punched out a white guy ironically named White, judge gave her 12 months of I think probation or something and claimed that even though she screamed "I hate white people!" while punching the guy that it wasn't a hate crime--not that the hate crime add-on would mean much in Canada because that's just 4-6 extra months or so instead of the years it'd get you in the USA.

Judge is an idiot, perp may be mentally ill.

Yup, that one happened in 2016. A typical example of measuring with two different sticks. It's not racism, because a whiet man is not a minority. Also, she's female, so she gets a lower sentence by default.
