That's really cool. I'd like to see more research in the area (eyeglasses that don't have an effect on vision, because sometimes just doing something has a psychological effect), but this could be a really positive development.

They're desperate to chase after any votes they can now. They've become precisely what they hate in the GOP. That should have been plain after they refused to kick Sanders and his little merry cult of hateful revolutionaries that just want to torch the system out of the party.

I do want more study before this becomes a policy, though. If people grandstand by handing out glasses before we really know that's what made the difference, we could end up with needless spectacles.
