It's ridiculous. If anything, given Russia's penchant for a traditionalist, patriarchal, and religious culture that's exclusive to anyone who is not a cist-het white male, they identify more with Republicans than Democrats, who tend to be very diverse.

I am not prepared to accept ANYTHING 45 says as Hyperbole, Sarcasm, or a Just A Joke until I have independent confirmation of that because he apparently never things about a tartarus-riven thing before it comes out of his fat mouth and just relies on his apologists to find ways to make sense of the gibberish he spews.
