I mean, at least oblivion is simpler, doesn't throw racial slurs at you like commas, and doesn't charge you $1500+ a month for simply being there.

Oblivion is also a place, where nobody loves you, noone can take you into their arms or have kind words for you and where you can't do a single thing that brings you joy and wonder.

There is that too. It's a two-edged sword. One could also spin-doctor oblivion to be a perfect world.

But oblivion is also complete equality. From the worst murderer and tyrant to the purest saint and hero. Kind of reminds me of that line from Gargoyles.
