I mean, at least oblivion is simpler, doesn't throw racial slurs at you like commas, and doesn't charge you $1500+ a month for simply being there.

Doesn't victim-shame you, doesn't attack you, doesn't violate you in so many ways over and over, only for you to face a lifetime of disbelief and scorn and judgment and blame... meh.

Oblivion is also a place, where nobody loves you, noone can take you into their arms or have kind words for you and where you can't do a single thing that brings you joy and wonder.

There is that too. It's a two-edged sword. One could also spin-doctor oblivion to be a perfect world.

Fair enough. I guess it depends on the ratio.

But oblivion is also complete equality. From the worst murderer and tyrant to the purest saint and hero. Kind of reminds me of that line from Gargoyles.
