Wait, so they had it in 1953? At a time when not even we had it? Wow...

They basically made abortion illegal in 1953, due to a certain event that made repopulation kind of a thing. Since then, the illegality has been gnawed away here and there, allowing abortion in cases where the child has incurable disease, the life of the mother is at stake or if the child is a result of rape. Also, the law was not strictly enforced. A lot of official clinics regularly performed abortion with only a really few court-cases happening as a result.

Sounds like a few people here could learn a lesson from over there.

True, enforce your laws or risk having them abolished.

How the law wasn't strictly enforced. Contrast to here, with states that lean right and cater to anti-choice religious regressives using just barely legal loopholes to shut down abortion clinics. Or work through various other shady means to defund them.

You are woke. South Korea is not.
Don't do this.

I don't even get that. What do you mean? If I'm woke, isn't that good? But then, you said they're not, which implies you're pro-life, but then, if you're praising what I said, I was specifically calling out the actions of those who identify as "pro-life" (and calling them out as "anti-choice" will not get them to be any less stubborn), when you're contrasting something I said, told me not to do this, and... what the hell are you talking about? This is why I don't often respond to you. What you say is puzzling to the point I can't offer a suitable rebuttal.
