As I said on the thread about VOY 11.59, I do not understand the irrational attachment to old things. Just plant some more, big deal.

If I had an 800 year old tree on my front yard or even across the street on public land that someone chopped down, I'd go for maximum punitive damages there.

Those trees don't mean anything to the people investing in the cathedral restoration though. Age doesn't equate the two.
