Maybe they're doing that, and because, just follow me here, it's discussing white supremacy? I don't exactly agree or disagree with what they're doing, just saying that white supremacy doesn't really affect white communities that much except as an embarrassment. I mean, as far as I know, we ARE past the days where fellow whites would be targeted for being "race traitors." Only the most extreme fringe lunatics would think that. With that said, I can understand the mindset. Get the perspective of white people on this. Shit, when a male YouTuber I follow (MasakoX) was creating a "The women of Dragon Ball" video, I was shocked the person he invited for the collab was Geekdom101, another guy, rather than a woman. I get it, you've really wanted to do a collab with this big YouTuber, but you can always do that, and this would be a chance not only to get a female perspective on the women of Dragon Ball like the video says, but to also, maybe, help a smaller channel grow? Sadly, female DBZ YouTube channels are smaller than those belonging to people like SethTheProgrammer, Chuck the Cyber Cuck, Geekdom101, and more. But getting back to the point, that raises an interesting question. Since this is about white supremacy, which is the position that "whites are superior and need to rule," what kind of whites do you ask? You could do a full survey, I suppose, but do you dare invite white nationalists? Tbh, if they're being peaceful and not acting out, I'd say invite them too. We're supposed to be civilized people, yes? We should be able to discuss this out with people we don't like, or agree with, but that sadly is the exception rather than the norm...

If you want a discussion, you need to invite people who disagree with you or at least have a different point of view on the subject matter. Otherwise you are only creating just another echo chamber. If your arguements are good, then they'll counter whatever the opposing side is going to throw at you and, who knows, maybe they have a point that you can take over and integrate to improve your own point of view. If you puposefully avoid this confrontation however, it does not speak well for your arguements superiority. Instead, it makes them look weaker.

Besides that obvious wisdom, if you want to talk about inclusivity by excluding people, you're a fucking biggoted arsehole, no matter the exact subject. Either you want inclusivity and have to include everyone or you don't and create an exclusive club and defeat yourself.

Exactly. And echo chambers are bad, people.

As an aside, what do you guys think of the example cited, "The women of Dragon Ball" video thing? Does it hold up as an apt description and comparison?

It's probably worth noting that when these particular people talk about "white supremacy," that includes things that have nothing to do with what most people think of as "white supremacy." Saying "there are two sides to every story" was given as an example of "white supremacy." We're not talking swastika armbands here.

Not yet anyway.

Meaning things like this might increase white identitarianism? Or that people who say "there are two sides to every story" are hiding swastika armbands and biding their time?

Well, white identitarianism is being pushed by these kinds of actions, but I was referring more to the authoritarians pushing this drivel.

Got it, thanks. And I do suspect white identitarianism is being buoyed by this kind of thing, but I don't know how to get any real certainty.

Gonna say something here. I could tolerate people who wear swastikas if they are harmless and don't go around doing what Dylann Roof did, murdering or hurting others. I really could. That's the thing. I have friends who on political chats know people with Nazi views, who don't go around hurting others. They obviously have VERY flawed beliefs, but other than that, they're chill. It's Nazi political activism is where it gets bad, because then you get radical action movements where they want things like ethnic purges and radical overthrows of the government. These people my friends knew just thought of ethnic minorities as inferior, or a Jewish conspiracy, which will incredibly stupid, is again still okay if you're not hurting others. I say it's okay because it should be someone's protected right to be an asshole as long as you're not hurting others. And it's no more cruel or stupid than any other thing non-Nazi humans have done or said. So, it's whatever. Extremists and terrorists are the real problems.
