No, they're legally Israeli citizens, and their indoctrination camp is in an illegal Israeli colony on what's internationally recognized as Palestinian soil.

The former defense minister TRIED to have them de-funded but that was ruled by the Israeli legal system to be out of line. Yes. Really.

Thing that has to be remembered is that given the incredibly stupid way the Knesset (and Israeli government as a whole) is set up, Likud's (current ruling party) rule depends on a ONE seat majority that they only hold thanks to the far-right nuts that go along with their coalition. Likud is center-right by Israeli standards (which means they only view Palestinians as annoying squatters on the land they want, and treat them like Trump treats immigrants), but a good chunk of the coalition is far-right lunatics like Naftali Bennett and Uri Ariel (right-wing by Israeli standards, which means they want to ethnically cleanse Palestine and replace the Palestinians with Israelis, but don't want to just gas/shoot/otherwise slaughter the Palestinians outright because that would look bad, just throw out the Palestinians and murder some of them if they don't move fast enough). These right-wing parties don't want to make major moves against the far-right unless absolutely necessary to maintain PR.

The far-right types, like the lunatics in this articles,believe explicitly in Jewish "racial supremacy", and include nuts like that neo-Kahanist who was removed from voter rolls a few months back for openly calling for the death penalty for "anyone who speaks out against any Jew", which technically includes the death penalty for Jews who criticize the Israeli leadership, which would de facto turn Israel into an outright dictatorship. (not to mention, calling for the death penalty for anyone who calls you an asshole is bad PR) The nuts from the article, as the farthest right of the far right, are basically Jewish ISIS, as evidenced by the whole "jews for hitler" thing.

This is what happens when settler-colony apartheid states are backed unquestioningly by the USA for decades on end and start to believe their own racist propaganda about being a "bastion of civilization" and "the Middle East's only democracy".
