AKA, redrawing voting districts, typically to swing elections to one side. Which is freaking horrible no matter which side does it. This genuinely underminds our democratic systems and renders many people's votes pointless.
The system is now officially rigged, everybody!
So, Partisan Gerrymandering is apparently cool now...

It has been rigged for while now but this only makes it even worse. Seems like in USA democracy doesn't mean anything anymore and is just buzz word to make votes seem important when those are not.

It's always been that way. Live with it.

It's always BEEN cool. Today's ruling didn't change anything.
I can understand being disappointed at the ruling, and I sympathize with the sentiment behind Kagan's dissent, but the sad truth is that there's not much Constitutional basis for the courts stepping in here. The Constitution just doesn't leave a lot of wiggle room. It's up to the States and/or the Congress to set the rules regarding elections unless it runs up against protected classes, and political parties don't fall into that category.
The good news is that some states have already passed laws to try and clamp down on this. Hopefully more follow.

That does seem to make it all the more important at the local level.

If legislators are redrawing district lines in order to favor House lead in a state, then it's probably for a pretty good reason.
