There would be some minor repercussions.

Yeah, yeah, it's more trivia than News, but this still seemed like the place for it. :)

Ah yes, spark that detonated powder keg that was Europe that time and started WWI aka The Great War that then led to lot of other things in history. No wonder next month Sabaton's next album titled The Great War is released since it has been so long from beginning of that war destructive war.

And got unresolved with WWII, sadly. Some people never learn, eh?

I don't think this combination of words means what you think it does. Can you rephrase, please?

And got unresolved and boiled over into a new conflict even worse, known as WWII. There. Rephrased.

"Got unresolved". But at least now I can catch your drift. Thanks.

It's why I say time travelers should stop trying to kill Hitler and go after Gavrilo Princip instead.

If I could kill one horrible dictator who killed millions and left behind millions of broken people but didn't care, it'd be Stalin, not Hitler. Personal feelings, yeah, but it's what I'd do.

On long run that does sound like better solution than going after any single dictator since lot of things resulted from WWI. Then again it's said that sooner or later WWI would had happened anyway regardless of that assassination.

You don't want to expirience the world where either World War 1 or 2 did not happen.
