I feel a little like gloating because of all the buzz about tearing down statues of Confederate Generals. To me it felt kinda hypocritical to remove a plaque honor Confederate soldiers while we have a monument to Washington and Jefferson.

Context is important. While none of "Founding Fathers" of USA were perfect and they surely had qualities that in today's standards are less than admirable they are still important people in your Nation's history since without them there wouldn't be USA. Same can't be said about Confederate Generals.

I think there is too much freely available porn in which children have damaging access to. I agree with porn filters.

Nah, those scareware notices are just a way some lazy American web designers use to get around the GDPR. Instead of stopping their scummy data tracking practices or providing an opt-out, they just try to scare off anyone that has legally enforceable privacy rights from their websites.

95% of the time you can get around them by turning off javascript on the offending website. Of course, you can and should get the same news elsewhere.

We should down all the statues now to save time in the future. None of these guys were vegan, were they?

Sadly you are probably right. I have a strange suspicion that in fifty years time meat eating will be heavily controversial. Or at least, eating real meat, people who eat frankenmeat from a lab will be woke factor 10.
