Not the newest development, but Lindsey Graham said that Trump better check himself before he wrecks himself, albeit in softer tone on Fox Network.

I personally don't expect the Republicans to come out with a calculated response to the issue in as discretionary manner as this is happening. I see them kind of on their own island as far as progressive sensitivity goes.

This doesn't surprise me at all and I doubt that it surprises anyone. Trump has proven many times that likes to run his mouth based on what he has so far said in social media. He is pretty much clown who was made President of the USA.

It'll play to his base well. Don't be surprised if Trump wins term 2, he has done nothing to offend his supporters at all for 3 years.

At this point he's just daring them to impeach him. At this point I honestly don't know if he's just stupid or bold. Or both.

Yeah, I could totally see Trump winning two terms. This is, after all, the same country that elected George W. Bush twice. And all it does is back up my views that we're never going to get a female President, because the nominee is probably pretty much going to be a woman, and then the idiots will insist after he wins next year that it's just too dangerous to run a woman, that defeating the GOP at "all costs" is what matters. Seriously, the GOP moderates, while not to my taste, aren't that bad, so "all costs" seems pretty high. And despite left-wing myths that they're leaving the party in droves, I think that's just feel-good rationalizing. This country is way more conservative than most people really want to believe it is. A country that's Russia Lite, and it's time we understood that. No woman will be legitimately elected by the people and not handed the position by a man in my lifetime.

So at what point specifically does addressing issues in society warrant "go back to your country" as a response from not only the head of state but figurehead of nation as well?
