Or maybe he will rise from the dead three days from now.

These are some very unconfirmed reports right now. Take them with a pinch of salt.

The worry is if Kim Jong's sister actually does take over. You have to imagine that North Korea must be an extremely patriarchal country. Those old generals (who are the true power behind the ''throne'') will doubtlessly have an issue being commanded by her. She needs to prove in the coming years that her non-existent balls are bigger than his actual balls otherwise... well, put it this way: North Korea becoming a true military dictatorship is very much a scary thought. To paraphrase Churchill, we may very well have seen the end of the beginning when it comes to North Korea.

When one does, another one takes it's place. This is problem dictatorship like what they have in NK. And that we don't know what generals are going to do. Time will tell but these are scary times. Well scarier than those already were.

I think there will be more of a fight. AKA, a full on civil war. Which would be, um, bad for the people who live there. China will probably come in and sort the mess, maybe, but who knows. It's going to be bad regardless.

South Korea says he's not dead yet. Anyway, I'm not sure how much of an impact there would be; the country's President is Kim Il-sung, and he's been dead since 1994.

Well, that is disappointing, the 4 paragraphs of conspiracy theory I wrote out disappeared.

If China gets into North Korea then it'll never leave. And if America and South Korea decide to keep that massive navy there, we could be looking at problems down the line.

You mean you're doing a rewrite of the 1998 film starring Mel Gibson and Julia Roberts?

Not so sure about that. It could happen, sure, but China likes having North Korea as a buffer state or else it would have ceased to exist a long time ago.
