Hot Topic! Controversial 101: Something minor or noteworthy, however small, Mr. 45 said, you respected, if not the man?

Yes, this is sure to get me some eyebrows raised, but... I wanted to do this, talking about Mr. 45. As I've said elsewhere, he's a buffoon who doesn't care about us and never has. However... whether you believe he gets too much hate or loathe him more than others, and I can respect either view, I want at least try to promote a more tolerant and rational discussion in one way, since there's already too much hypocrisy from all involved in the world now, including me. I'm no special case here. Whether you think it's only at one time in his whole life or just something he'd only recently said, I want us to talk about one thing Mr. 45 said, you can respect? Similar to how I recently respected Mr. Biden's take on how, if you believe Ms. Reade's allegations, don't vote for him. I gave Mr. Biden his dues there.
I'm going to put my money where my mouth is, and list mine. Where he rightly said this country is not innocent, we got killers here. I saw the interview, and I know the counterarguments which are coming, that he was lying because he just wanted to cozy up to Mr. Putin, and in no way will I ever defend that murdering tyrant. He should be deposed - but that is just my view. But, when have you ever seen a US president say we got killers here, this country is not innocent? It is the decline of the American empire, and I can at least appreciate that remark even if it was, and I'll concede here, probably said for all the wrong reasons past all those you can comment on. It's also quite ironic that for all the GOP's preaching to how Mr. Obama was wrongfully apologizing for the US, this gets a pass from them. More proof than ever it is less about the common good and more:

But what is yours?
