Yes, anyone could have predicted that teachers would get coronavirus outside of the classroom and that people would blame classes starting for it.

Four deaths are mentioned in the article. In three cases, catching it from the classroom appears to have been ruled out, and in the other case (Tom Slade) there is no evidence he caught it in the classroom, and an obvious alternate explanation as to where he caught it.
