This is one of the reasons I oppose the cash bail system. People facing minor drug charges spend days, months, years in jail awaiting trial, but this kid gives protestors high-velocity lead poisoning and he can waltz out because he's got rich family and the so-called Christian Right opens their wallets for his fundraiser.

Cry me a river for poor drug dealers not being able to get bailed by their mommies or crowd-funding. That is a really bad whataboutism.

As for that piece of shit being out on bail, that is a gross mistake and injustice.

The US is the land of rampant injustice and bureaucratic decay.

I abhor vigilantism, and yet, material like this makes it incredibly tempting for me.

This is nothing more than "sticking it to the libs". In a few years, this kid will no longer be relevant, have no friends, and probably shoot his brains out. Frankly, that's too good for him.
