Toei Company, Japan's biggest film and television studio best known for producing internationally iconic titles such as Dragonball Z, Sailor Moon and Super Sentai (the latter being the source of footages for the Power Rangers franchise) has been seeing a series of drops in its stock shares due to controversies surrounding the behind scenes issues on one of its TV productions.
Since the “TOEI's Gate” scandal (involved complaints about overworking and sexual harassments) the company's shares in Tokyo Stock Exchange are in free fall. Toei Company's PR is expected to speak soon.
