That has more to do with when two sides are rather polarized. It has more to do with rhetoric that gets tossed between two sides and almost always leads to no solution.
This situation isn't terribly similar, given the drastic dissociation between the corrupt Russian government and Russian demographics in the US.

Active duty officers are responsible for contributing to the culture of police brutality and extortion strangling this country. It is within their power to stop being police officers and join those petitioning for an end to modern policing practices.
