He was also selling supplements through his Infowars website not approved by the FDA and had bogus claims about being able to cure Covid. He also posted photos of the judge on fire. And is now also being investigated for his role in the Capitol riot which supposedly saw him encouraging the protesters.

This is a dangerous man. There is no doubt in my mind about that.

It was such a weird rooky mistake for someone who's been in the fake outrage game for so long too. You wave your hand vaguely at some amorphous They or big groups like a race or sexual minorities as the big pretend danger the audience can pretend to believe horrible things about and it's hard for anyone to really do anything about it. People can say "hey that's really bigoted" or "nobody is actually trying to stop you from saying Merry Christmas" but to the people you and your advertisers want to attract that's practically an endorsement.
