He can barely string a sentence together and walk in a straight line already. What's he going to be like after another four years in one of the world's most stressful jobs?

Republicans are either going fo run Trump or mini-me, might as well run the team everyone knows can beat him.

Question is, will the Democratic primaries elect an optimist or a lead gun? Biden was able to run on the latter ticket and was able to appease the left just enough to ride out the first term unscathed, though people are starting to get impatient with him.
..What mirror universe?

He'll be 86 after a second term. I wouldn't vote in a man who will probably be needing diapers and it turns out i'm not alone. This man's only hope at this point is that he is up against Orange Man, because if there is an outsider who comes through with charisma and youth on his side - a Republican Obama if you will - this old fossil is done for.
''Many Americans say they do not want President Biden to run for re-election, and his age is a big reason. In an NBC News poll released last weekend, 70 percent of adults said Mr. Biden, who is 80, should not run again. Asked if age was a factor, 69 percent of them said yes. Other recent surveys detect a similar lack of enthusiasm, with many voters — including around half of Democrats — calling him too old to seek the White House again.''

Trump is barely better. That guy cant even make a sentence without repeating himself, and then do it again.clearspira wrote: ↑Tue Apr 25, 2023 8:44 pm He can barely string a sentence together and walk in a straight line already. Biden actually has a speech impediment that dates decades. What is Trumps excuse?
I got nothing to say here.
Re: Biden running again.
Also keep in mind that Trump is a couple of years younger.clearspira wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 9:30 pm https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/26/upsh ... said%20yes.

Honestly for me, who will actually vote in the election, I'd rather vote for someone who isn't a Boomer and about time to vote for politicians in the Gen X.

Honestly, anyone born AFTER Watergate would be good enough. But, given the current issues, it'd be better to get things stabilized before we try to shake things up.McAvoy wrote: ↑Fri Apr 28, 2023 1:45 amAlso keep in mind that Trump is a couple of years younger.clearspira wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 9:30 pm https://www.nytimes.com/2023/04/26/upsh ... said%20yes.

Sorry, rule is that political power skips a generation. Went right from the greatest generation to the boomers, and eventually right from the boomers to the millennials.
