The odds of no more being discovered in that time are pretty slim, and it's not as if it's the only deposit currently known.

The only issue I have with it is that it should last a lot longer than 100 years, the rate at which stuff gets mined through these days is insane.

And just where is all that phosphate going to end up, once it's been taken out of its stable location?

Landfills.

I love how they phrase it.

All that phosphate is gonna end up fertilizing toxic algae blooms in the oceans, just wait and see.

Well this could be just a stop gap measure to find alternatives especially for batteries.

Also maybe, we will develop a recycling program for batteries too.
