These are the 5 state driver's licenses no longer valid in Florida under new immigration law

This is for topical issues effecting our fair world... you can quit snickering anytime. Note: It is the desire of the leadership of SFDebris Conglomerate that all posters maintain a civil and polite bearing in this forum, regardless of how you feel about any particular issue. Violators will be turned over to Captain Janeway for experimentation.

He and his cronies in the legislature really need to face actual consequences for all these blatantly illegal laws they keep passing only to get immediately struck down or they'll just keep doing it.

Reading what the licenses are. Well two of them are basically not licenses, they are learners permits. And I seem to recall a NJ learners permit was not valid in PA. Once over the bridge you would either need to turn around and go right back. Or pull over and let a fully licensed driver take the wheel.

I think the others are being snuck in under this heading because they are not officially ID's.

And how many people from Hawaii and Vermont drive to Florida. Now the E-Verify bit I think is a bit off. To apply for work you need two forms of ID to prove you are a US citizen or legally eligible for work. I have at every job I applied for. DL and SSC or birth certificate. Every job. The E-Verify thing bothers me for the same reason Real ID bothers me. The government is subcontracting its own security.

The problem is if this was put through by anyone other than Ron DeSantis, would we even know about it?
