The idea though is interesting. What if somewhere down the road someone says we have the technology to recreate the TOS series now, why not go for a fourth season?

It was just an idea. I think it will more likely apply to video games (TOS themed actually sounds cool) or commercials or cameos of some kind. Though how Trek is now, they are more willing to leave the Shatner Kirk alone and just go with re-casting which I am fine with too.

Though, I am not exactly good with the SNW Kirk though. I like Pine's Kirk and I think we could have seen the Shatner Kirk better in him if Pine had a better script to work with.

The necromancy part of does feel off. The Big Flash scene towards the end had majority of the 'cameos', being made by dead people. Adam West. Christopher Reeve and George Reeves. All dead and big time using George Reeves who consider him playing Superman a part in his death.

Think about the future. There could be a possibility of AI fully creating a human being on screen acting in some sitcom. With a director taking the best lines made from AI who could be programmed to read lines but also to ad lib in a specified percentage.

You don't need AI for this. Just have somebody figure out who still owns the rights to Secret of Vulcan Fury, buy the assets from them, and finish the game using the VA recordings that were already made back in the 90s (assuming they haven't been lost by now).

Given the current standard of Trek, and given how Paramount clearly hates Shatner's guts, TOS season 4 would be a firm ass "no" from me.

It would never in a million years feel the same and it wouldn't be allowed to feel the same. It would be closer to that SNW rubbish than anything made in the 1960s or 70s.
