(Of course they still can't assign LGBTQ history or subjects in curriculum, but I'll take the wins where I can find them).

Well putting LGBTQ history might be a step too far for Florida even for those who are more accepting than others. Give it 20 years. Maybe there will be a separate class exploring the human condition once the older folks go away.

I wouldn't count on it. There's a brand new crop of Ben Shapiro conservatives growing up.

But there is a far more numerous crop of people who are more accepting.

I base this in how media and the general public accepts the LGBTQ community as a whole compared to 20 years ago. I mean we are talking a literal generation that will take in what we have now.

There will be no doubt the children born in those families that thinks the LGBTQ is an abomination. This is to be expected though and this will eventually become a overwhelming minority.

I just try not to put too much faith in generational politics.

Its just my observation, that right now it's more accepted than it was 20 years ago.

But yeah with all of the push back from those who cry wokeness, shows how many who are still intolerant of seeing two dudes kiss, or 'a dude in drag'.
