The Harris campaign

Yeah, it seems like this is going to be a blowout victory.

Which I'm fine with.

But I feel it's rather depressing that so many people were going to vote for Trump, apparently, just because Biden was slightly older.

I dunno that it would be "so many people voting Trump" so much as "a lot of people who were exhausted and just wanted to give up on politics entirely because of the old man rematch are engaged again", which will show in the polls as a Harris surge.

But certainly it's possible that the Gas Price Voters of the nation are feeling more confident about Harris than Biden as well, and they certainly would actually be switching their votes.

It does seem to me whatever steam the a Trump campaign had when running against Biden is gone with Harris now as his Democrat rival. I have seen the reports and actual video coverage of people at Trump rallies walking out. Trump himself and his rhetoric just isn't working anymore compared to energy that Harris is bringing in.

The comparison between the VPs is interesting because Vance is just saying things where he should keep his mouth shut because only a small part would agree with.

That said, if the Democrats want to win then they have to go in and vote. Do not assume they have it in the bag.

I think the mainstream media really wants Trump to win, but after Harris came out, Trump and Vance LOST IT and the mainstream media can't spin it... so they ignore it.

Remember, they ignored 'Vote once and you'll never vote again'.

For the VP Walz seems like someone it would be fun to have a beer with and Vance seems like someone who already put a roofie in your drink before you knew he was there.

Vance was necessary because he's getting Silicon Valley to pay for everything but he's also an empty suit that reads whatever the teleprompter tells him to.

The problem is the people on the teleprompter are Nazis, the Purple Man, and Glorious Godfrey.

I wouldn't even say he's an empty suit, he's a pretty normal example of the TechBro branch of the online manosphere. It's the same mistake DeSantis made: to people who aren't terminally online and native to right-wing spaces (or who follow those spaces from a distance out of curiosity and/or self-harm) it's not only insanely offensive to normal people but so deep in it's own irony-poisoned jargon and sideways references to associated groups like the Q cultists that most people don't even know what the hell he's saying.

JD Vance is impressive in how I never found Trump to be convincing at all but when you compare him to Trump, holy shit you can see why Trump got ahead next to this pathetic dork.

There's a running theory, that Trump is suffering from PTSD after the assassination-attempt and now, subconciously or, rather, because he can't think straight anymore as the theme stresses him out, sabotages his own candidacy. Vance fits nicely into that timeline, even though he's a plant from the Heritage Foundation, Thiel and Musk. Trump is just fundamentally incapable of grasping what he's doing there anymore, insofar as his presidency and candidacy is involved.

That's the real kicker there. Trump may go, but Musk doesn't go anywhere. Neither does Thiel. Nor the Heritage Foundation or any of their ilk. And especially not those millions of voters who willingly and knowingly almost walked into the US becoming a white nationalist, theocratic kingdom. That danger is not yet over and won't be for many elections to come.

Yeah, the bulk of the media definitely has a pro-45 bias. He's babbling like an idiot and they pretend he has actual policy points while reserving all the hard questions for the democratic candidate.

Remember to check your registration, everyone. If the Republicans can't win fair and square, they will cheat.
